Fund Rising Events

As parents you know that running a household is not cheap, running a Scout group is similar. Most activities are run on an "at cost" basis, the money collected does not cover replacing equipment, paying for leader training, replacing the minibus etc,etc. This money comes from fundraising.

Fundraising over the last few years has become more and more difficult. The group run several "standard" fund raising events throughout the year. These are listed below. 
We are always on the lookout for other fund raising ideas using a wider group of fundraisers, to relieve the burden from the dedicated few. That doesn't mean that your help with the core fund raising would not be appreciated. If you have any suggestions please email

Road race and fun run We are always in need of help not only on the day, but with setting up the day before some of the organisational aspects
